Governance, budgets, cash flow, funding readiness and internal controls
Business advisory
Corporate governance, budgets, cash flow forecasts, funding readiness and internal controls that help owners and boards make clear decisions.
Owners and boards make better decisions when the numbers are clear. Our advisory work turns your financial information into budgets, forecasts and plans that help you act with confidence.
We prepare annual budgets with your management team and build cash flow forecasts that show when money is likely to come in and go out. If you are preparing to approach a bank, investor or funder, we help you put together a funding pack with accurate financial statements, forecasts and clearly stated assumptions.
Stronger controls
Good internal controls protect your assets and your reputation. We review how cash, purchasing, payroll and stock are controlled in practice, and recommend changes that suit the size of your organisation. Where it helps, we write simple financial policies and procedures your team can follow.
Governance and board risk
Boards carry the responsibility for how an organisation is run. We review your board structure, policies and risk oversight against good practice, and set out a prioritised plan to close the gaps. For boards and management teams without a finance background, we run practical workshops that explain the numbers they are asked to approve and the questions worth asking.
We keep our advice practical. Each piece of work ends with a short list of agreed actions, and we follow up to see how they are working.

Questions
Can you guarantee that our loan or grant application will succeed?
No. The decision always rests with the lender or funder. We help you present accurate, well-supported financial information so that your application is clear and complete.
How are advisory fees agreed?
Fees depend on the scope of work and are agreed in writing before work begins.
Can you advise us if you are also our auditor?
Some advisory work is compatible with being your auditor and some is not. We will tell you at the start if independence rules limit what we can do.
